Privacy Policy

Maintify (“we”, “us”) is a field-service management app for small businesses, operated by its owner, Yoshari Soto. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name, email and profile photo, provided through Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Business data you enter — your company profile, clients, jobs, schedules, crew members, invoices and job photos.
- Usage & device data — anonymous usage statistics and crash reports used to keep the app stable, collected only if you opt in. You can change your choice anytime in Account → Privacy & Analytics.
- Location — only when you use navigation or set a job address, and only with your permission.
How we use it
We use your information to operate the app: to sync your jobs and crew, send invoices to your clients, provide support, and improve reliability and performance. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use your business data for advertising.
Your clients’ information
When you add your clients’ details to Maintify, that information belongs to your business — you are responsible for it and for having your clients’ permission to store it. We process it only on your behalf to provide the service, never for advertising or anything else. Our commitment as your data processor is set out in the Terms of Use.
Sharing
Data is visible to members of your company according to their role. To run the app we rely on a small set of service providers, each bound by contracts that require them to protect your data:
- Google Firebase — sign-in, database and file storage.
- Google Cloud Vision — automated screening of uploaded photos for prohibited content.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Apple — payment processing for subscriptions.
Data is hosted in the United States (Google Cloud). For users in Europe, transfers are covered by EU-approved safeguards (standard contractual clauses). We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When an owner permanently deletes a company, its data is erased from our systems, subject to short backup-rotation periods and any legal retention requirements.
Your rights
- Access and correct your profile and business data from within the app.
- Request a copy of your data by emailing privacy@maintifyapp.com.
- Delete your account and company data from Account → Delete Account. This also removes your subscription record at RevenueCat.
- Turn analytics on or off anytime in Account → Privacy & Analytics.
- Revoke location or notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
If you’re in the EEA or UK, you have the rights the GDPR gives you — access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction and objection — and you can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you’re a California resident, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA, and we honor them the same way. Either way, email us and we’ll respond within the legally required time.
Children
Maintify is a business tool and is not directed at children. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
